- Micah McGrath is a self-taught New Orleans based leatherworker whose hand-dyed designs emphasize vibrant color and functional beauty.
- The Mennonite culture that Micah grew up in, instilled in him the values of simplicity and commitment to high standards of craftsmanship. Nearly a decade of trial and error in the trade, results in his sole use of vegetable tanned leather hides from a handful of ethical American and European tanneries.
- Micah's work focuses primarily on making wallets, purses, bags and accessories that blend beauty and heirloom durability, with every detail, from custom hand-dyes to edging and stitching, done by hand by the artist himself.
