- John Fitzgerald is the owner-operator of Fitzgerald letterpress, a small specialty print shop in New Orleans. John has been printing for pleasure, business and artistic expression since childhood. He left a career in commercial offset printing when digital graphics came to dominate the printing trades and much of the beauty and craft was lost. John took a step back in time to re-create the old and irreplaceable ways of fine printing.
- In addition to custom letterpress printing, (ideal for wedding invitations, stationary and birth announcements) John creates fine art prints combining linoleum cuts and hand-set type.
