New work from Printmaker Christopher Kirsch the Double Double Helix is comprised of a single image run through his printing press a total of 288 times in pink & blues letterpress inks. The finished work is reminiscent of the old toy Spirograph but is actually done on a letterpress and carefully arranging and moving the image block between the 288 impressions. This Helix is printed on cream colored paper size 22 1/2” X 30”
